I begin to wake
hoping when i open my eyes
he'll be there
but knowing he only
exsit in my heart now
I fade back to sleep
as the pain of knowing
runs though my veins
like a fast moving car
making my soul
to weak to stand
with my eyes closed
I travel back
in time when
the sun still shined
only to wake
once more
to the darkness
of light
